This is a fascinating and terrifying video that must be watched. We are seeing evil rise in a way we have not seen since Adolph Hitler’s Nazi Germany. As I wrote once in a previous post, they are using the age-old formula. They are rallying the people around hate and telling them who is to blame for their anger. We are not perfect in the western world, and Israel does not do everything right, but find me a group of thousands in any western democracy, shouting death to entire countries. You won’t. This is a quest for power and control that is meant to conquer, kill and destroy. It is not about religion or God. It is using religion and God as a means to control the masses to give those in power dominion over as many people as possible. The masses have been blinded to how illogical their methods are, and unless stopped will help their rulers see this through to the destructive outcome.

For those who want to even remotely consider accepting the word of a country like Iran, the following report should tell you exactly what kind of people are in control of this fascist government. In a report reminiscent of some of the most vile lies ever told about the Jewish people, Iranian state-run PressTV has come out with a report claiming that the Islamic State is selling Iraqi and Syrian children to Israel. Their claim is that the trafficking is being done in order to take these children and populate the settlements in the West Bank. READ REPORT HERE
This type of propaganda is the next step up from the Holocaust denial Iran has been so famous for over the years. What makes it even more bizarre is that even as ISIL runs rampant through their neighboring countries, Iran somehow has found a way to bring Israel into the equation. And yet, as usual, the world remains silent. Some may have been mislead into believing that Iran has become a more reasonable and reliable player in global politics, but this report is just another example of how this Iranian government is run by liars potentially capable of the same evil as Nazi Germany. Are these the people you would trust with nuclear weapons? I think not. The world better wake up before it is too late.

When anyone, especially someone high up in the United States administration says that the ISIS or ISIL is not Islamic, besides the fact that it denies its very claim and motivations, it does one other very dangerous thing. It takes Iran off the hook.
It was reported today that Ayatollah Rouhani of Iran said that “ISIS wants to kill humanity.” I don’t dispute that claim for a second. However, what I do take issue with is Iran making it seem as though they are not at all to blame for this mess. The Sunni and Shia differences aside, it’s the Iranian revolution and its export of Islamic radicalization and terrorism that laid much of the groundwork for the threats now facing millions of people worldwide, including Iran.
Someone in Iran saying “ISIS wants to kill humanity” is like Dr. Frankenstein saying a crazy monster is on the loose. No kidding. You created it. So forgive me Dr. Frankenstein, but why should we trust you now. The fact that it evolved into something that now threatens you does not diminish your responsibility.
This is another instance where ignoring reality makes the hole we’re getting into even deeper, for by not recognizing Iran’s culpability we allow it to align itself more with the world community, giving it more time and less pressure to develop its nuclear program. When that happens the world will have another, possibly worse crisis on its hands. One we could actually stop now in its tracks. But for that to happen we might have to call it Islamic.

I was sitting watching Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless discuss the Ray Rice incident on ESPN’s First Take, and my thoughts kept wondering back to the situation in the Middle East. After all that is the subject first and foremost on my mind these days. Between the threats Israel continues to face from Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran and the immediate threat ISIS poses to the region and the rest of the world, I couldn’t help but have the thought so many people of us have these days. The world is a really messed up place. All of a sudden the Ray Rice incident and international politics crystallized into one as I realized what is actually one of the main sources of everything that is wrong in the world today. The treatment of women.
This was actually mentioned to me in a discussion I had with a cousin of mine about a month ago. She stated how so much of the bad behavior of Muslim extremists has its root in the mistreatment of women. I agreed with her when she said this, never disputed it, and put the thought somewhere in the back of my mind. But over the past few weeks it kept gnawing at my brain, and little by little has worked its way back to the forefront. Here’s why.
The promise of 72 virgins up in heaven is genuinely used as motivation in terrorist training. Somehow certain elements within Islam that require women on earth to cover up any degree of beauty they have, are promising available and virginal women up in heaven as a reward for men that kill, maim and destroy. They are exploiting perversion to encourage murder. A man’s desire for a woman is not a perversion. A man pursuing 72 virgins is a perversion, especially in a society where women’s natural beauty is suppressed and covered up, and especially when they have the perception of acquiring the virgins through mass murder and suicide. The whole idea of having a woman who is specifically a virgin is more about conquest than it is about desire. Wanting a woman for conquest rather than desire or companionship is in itself inherently degrading to women.
I believe part of what has drawn some to join ISIS or ISIL is the ability to live a lawless life in which they have the power to do whatever they want. The abuse of women is no small part of this. As tragic and despicable as it is, I don’t think anyone was terribly surprised to hear of how Yazidi women captured by ISIS terrorists have been and still are being used brutally as sex slaves. If there were no women to abuse in the “Levant” I wonder if we would see the same unrelenting pursuit by these terrorists to conquer these territories.
Basic respect for women makes a man behave a certain way. It’s not about the basic or natural needs of a man, it’s about seeing a woman as nothing less than an equal human being. It’s about not tolerating abuse of a woman in any form, including a football player punching his fiance in an elevator. I make no claims to be perfect nor do I claim to have treated every woman perfectly, but this is not about perfection. This is about basic decency and not having tolerance for the abuse of women.
Stop and imagine for one second what the world would be like if women weren’t being treated improperly. If you do this openly and honestly you’ll not only see a better world, but a safer one as well.

I am here to announce to the world that it is now official. I am renouncing my Liberal status. Let me be clear that this is not a total overhaul of my views and opinions on all the social issues that could only label me as a Liberal. Those views have not changed. The reason for me renouncing my status is that I no longer wish to be associated with people making excuses for bad behaviors and for those who are tolerant of anti-Semitism masquerading as anti-Zionism.
I recently wrote 2 letters, one to George Clooney and another to Russell Brand. Although the vast majority appear to have enjoyed and agreed with the tone and content of the letters, I have received more criticism on these letters than on anything I’ve ever written. I don’t mind the criticism, on some levels I even like it. I don’t suppress opinions and generally don’t wish physical harm on anyone for having opinions that differ from mine. What I do have a problem with are people believing they are taking some sort of moral high ground by not criticizing anti-Semites or being so careful to not unfairly demand the opinion of those who could influence the thoughts of millions. I am convinced they take this approach because they either don’t truly understand how high the stakes are or because they are just too frightened to do otherwise. Either way it’s a mistake.
Let me break it down and explain something everyone needs to understand before it is too late. Yes I ridiculed Russell Brand. I insulted him, referenced his mental illness, and attacked his character more than I attacked his words. Although I stand by everything I said to him, let’s say for argument sake my letter was a despicable and unfair defamation of character. It’s still not even close to being as bad as what he is doing. Hamas has two things people need to be aware of when looking at the entire picture. First they have a charter that speaks of its commitment to driving every Jew out of Israel and its mission to kill every Jew alive. The second is a sponsor, Iran, with a large supply of weapons and a hatred for Israel, as well as a budding alliance with a rogue and nuclear North Korea. Hamas has stated that its conditions for a cessation of hostilities includes the opening of a port and lifting of the Naval blockade. If this would be done under Hamas leadership, it would put the very survival of the State of Israel in jeopardy. So when Russell Brand gets on his high horse and criticizes Israel for his actions, he is in essence saying that its survival means absolutely nothing to him. He is saying to me and to the world that it is perfectly acceptable to have North Korea ship nuclear weapons into Gaza. So now I ask those of you attacking my words and defending him, what is more offensive? One man insulting and ridiculing another or the other calling for actions that translate into millions of dead Jews?
I’m more concerned as to whether or not George Clooney, a man who potentially can influence millions feels as his anti-Semitic fiance does, than I am with whether or not someone thinks I am out of line for connecting her words to him. That misplaced use of Liberal ideals and so-called tolerance is unacceptable to me. As I’ve said many times, “Never Again” does not mean Never Again unless it insults George Clooney.
Listen to the words of someone who has called himself a Liberal till now and has done so without apology. Wake up and start realizing what is at stake here. I do not have any children of my own, but I have many children in my family who I hope will be able to live a happy and safe life. Too much tolerance for anti-Semitic behavior and too much concern for the feelings of people who aren’t helping us when they should is what truly offends me. They threaten the safety of all Jewish children and ultimately all children on the planet, including the very children they pretend to defend. If that doesn’t offend you more than a personal attack on an actor, I urge you to reexamine your values. Furthermore, this thought process that has people thinking my “nasty” letters somehow contribute to anti-Semitism is dangerously naive. One person even said that Amal Alamuddin, George Clooney’s fiance, gave us a gift by turning down a spot on the panel as though she did it for any other reason other than her own benefit. I am not going to thank an ant-Semite for something merely because they took one less action of hatred against Jews.
I used to believe that the ideal of Liberalism brought people together even when they disagreed on important issues. Maybe it does that on some levels, but when it becomes a tool with which to hold views that translate into serious harm for the Jewish people and the entire civilized world, not only do I want no part of it, I question why anyone else who loves a peaceful and secure world would.

It’s the topic we don’t often bring up, but it’s always somewhere in our minds. With all that is happening in the world one might think it is just a matter of time till we see the use of some form of a nuclear weapon. It’s a terrifying thought and quite frankly one that makes no normal person happy, regardless of where it would be used. We can choose to ignore the subject, a decision I would understand because of how frightening it is to imagine, but what I am going to do in this piece is break down the numerous scenarios in which it could happen.
I’ll start with the 5 countries that are members of the Non-Proliferation Treaty. They are the United States, Russia, United Kingdom, France and China. I believe the least likely of the to be presented with an option in which to go nuclear is China. Of the remaining 4, only Russia finds itself in a conflict close to home, but the fact that it is so close to home is the very reason not to use it. The concerning thing about Russia has always been that after the break up of the Soviet Union there was a concern that weapons were scattered in various locations. That fear has dissipated somewhat with the control Vladimir Putin seems to have over the area, but that being said, Russia is the country on the list I see as most susceptible to terrorist infiltration. The remaining three are all facing the potential threats of terrorist attacks by Islamic terrorists and should an attack be serious enough and the source identifiable, one can’t take a nuclear response off the table. That is something all would be reluctant to do unless the attack on them was nuclear, and even then it would be uncertain.
There are four other countries that are nuclear powers, three declared and not members of the Non-Proliferation Treaty, and one which is not a declared nuclear power but widely known as being one. There are more scenarios here and they are all quite terrifying. The first two, India and Pakistan, are the ones that might be seen as most likely to use a nuclear weapon on the other. Although the tensions between the two have calmed somewhat over the years, these 2 countries still don’t like each other and have very different global interests. I believe India would only consider doing so if forced into it and I believe Pakistan under its current leadership would not use it. But this is where it gets interesting. The Taliban has a significant presence in Pakistan and with neighboring Afghanistan still unstable and dealing with its strong Taliban force, no one wants to even think about what would happen should Pakistan’s government be replaced with a government aligned with Islamic extremists, or even worse a Taliban government. That would without doubt be a global game changer.
There are 2 countries left to speak of, one of which is the one undeclared nuclear power, Israel. Israel, like the nations in the Non-Proliferation Treaty, will only go nuclear if absolutely necessary, meaning if it is a matter of survival. Israel would not need nuclear weapons to wipe out Iran’s nuclear program and is more likely to keep Iran in check with the threat of reprisal should Iran get nuclear weapons and use one of its proxies to attack Israel.
I left North Korea for last. This was not an accident. It is unquestionably the most dangerous of all the nuclear powers. Besides the fact that their dictator Kim Jong has repeatedly threatened the U.S., it’s believed that North Korea helped fund the building of Hamas’s terror tunnels from Gaza to Israel. No one finds it hard to believe that Kim would have a problem providing Hamas or any other terrorist organization with a nuclear weapon. Like Hamas, Kim Jong’s Korea doesn’t care about his own people so he would have no problem contributing to a genocide of another people. I have no doubt Israel is watching him very closely.
The terrorism scenario is always out there of course, be it a conventional bomb or dirty bomb, especially since there are groups that have declared their willingness and desire to cause devastation in large western cities, most notably New York City.
All this is conjecture, but with all the conflicts going on today anything can happen at any time. Let’s hope this doesn’t.

If Hamas is telling the truth, and this is the one time it actually might be, fighting between Israel and the terrorist organization will resume tomorrow. They have made it clear that unless Israel removes the naval blockade and allows Gaza an active port they will resume hostilities when the cease-fire expires. With an open port Hamas would be able to receive unlimited amounts of weapons from its supporters, bastions of morality like Iran, Qatar and North Korea. As obvious as it should be that removing the blockade would be devastating to Israel’s security, and as obvious as it will be that Hamas is the one resuming the fighting, be prepared for another round of Israel bashing when civilians once again get killed because the leadership of Hamas has no respect for human life. Those who hate Israel and the Jewish people will only be happy if they are willing to take a beating, which thank God they are not. Stay tuned for the predictable.

I hate war. I hate violence. I hate cowards that hide behind women and children. I hate seeing women and children dying because these cowards make them targets. I hate terrorists. I hate what these terrorists make young soldiers do. I hate being hated for being Jewish. I hate Roger Waters. I hate that I’m not welcome in Teheran or Beirut or Istanbul. I hate that Jews in Paris can’t walk the streets safely. I hate the leaders of the wealthy countries that sponsor terrorists. I hate the people attempting to destroy civilization. I hate that Israel has never lived in peace. I hate that so many in the world don’t realize that all Israel wants is to live in peace. I hate the United Nations. I hate Iran’s leadership. I hate terror tunnels. I hate anti-Semites. I hate double standards. I hate the lies being told. I hate the instigators of violence. I hate missiles being fired at my people. I hate those who don’t think my people have a right to make those missiles stop. I hate those who desecrate the name of God by preaching murder. I hate those who make me hate others. And I hate that I could keep going and going, but I will stop. Because most of all, I hate hating.
I’m a hater

It’s a stroke of genius. Identify what hits a chord with the population, and whether your words and images are factual or not, pound them into the psyche of the masses. It’s a model used throughout the ages with more devastating consequences in the 20th century than any other. Most notably Hitler’s Nazi party which preyed on the economic misfortunes of the populace to assign blame to anyone they felt would stand in the way of their agenda, or even worse, use a scapegoat to rally strong support. By the time throngs of people were shouting Heil Hitler, most of them were just spewing out structured opinions and no longer thinking for themselves. Which is in many ways what it is all about.
Many people, whether they wish to admit it or not, feel comfort and security in allowing leaders to choose their path. It’s the draw of religion. A friend of mine once told me, people buy with emotion and then justify it with logic. Tyrants and dictators are selling a product, and when people are downtrodden and desperate they’re buying that product. People who like their life may protest, and may even have opinions laced with hate, but they hardly ever commit acts of violence in the name of civil disobedience. What Hamas is doing is following a model, and doing so with precision tactics.
Their biggest advantage is also their biggest deception. They are not in it alone. Backed by Iran, a nation that was taken over in 1979 by Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, a man who used the same model to rally enough of a nation behind him to take over a government and start a global revolution, Hamas is a microcosm of a much bigger threat. That bigger threat is one the world needs to be aware of, but won’t be as long as those most threatened appear to be mostly from one group. That one group is the same group initially targeted by Hitler. The Jewish people. Yes there were others the Nazis hated and persecuted almost immediately. Homosexuals, gypsies, Poles, were all hated by Hitler, but from the start the Jews were the cause of everything bad in Germany. They were called subhuman, a word that popped into my head earlier when seeing how the United Nations Human Rights Council showed its usual disregard for the human rights of the inhabitants of the Jewish State of Israel. But maybe they see Jews as subhuman too. It just doesn’t support their current agenda to admit it.
The lesson of previous models, specifically of World War II should be obvious. To some it is and yet they choose to disregard it. To others, those caught up in the fervor of Hamas propaganda, they have bought into the mass hysteria often created by evil dictators, and in doing so they are doing what was done before, go after the scapegoat, which once again is the Jewish people. Although it seems to be easy to let others think for you, they are making the same tragic mistake. They do not see that which has always been the case when following this model, that the goal is world dominance. Ultimately that means there is no room for any major group of people with different ways of thinking, as already evident by the way Christians have been brutally murdered in places like Iraq and Nigeria .
If the right people with the right amount of power wake up to the true dangers facing civilization, a full-scale World War III may be averted. If they don’t, and continue to get caught up in the hysteria of lies and deception, civilization as we know it is in danger. It’s that horrifying, that deep, that simple, and yes, just a matter of time. Let’s hope people study the model and learn from history.

In light of the events of earlier today in which the FAA shut down flights from the United States to and from Israel, I ask the following question. If, God forbid, a plane travelling into Tel-Aviv were to be shot down, who would be held accountable for yet another unspeakable tragedy in the skies? Last week when Malaysian flight 17 was shot down killing all 298 passengers, Russian supported rebels were identified as responsible for firing the surface to air missile that brought down the plane. The world has understandably been in an uproar over this horrific act. Governments, including the United States government have been demanding action from Vladimir Putin, as the leader of Russia, the nation most people are blaming for this tragedy. So if such an awful event would take place near Tel-Aviv, naturally any logical thinking and fair-minded individual would blame Hamas who is firing the missiles, or even take it one step further, Iran, the nation that sponsors the terrorist organization ruling Gaza. Naturally, but unlikely.
As much as that should make sense to anyone reading this, we all know Israel would be blamed and pressured into stopping the operation whose sole purpose is to stop these attacks. There would be no headline reading, ‘Plane shot down by Iranian missile”. I pray to God this theory isn’t tested, but I know that any such test would prove my theory accurate. There is, more often than not an unfair standard when it comes to world opinion and the State of Israel. I am quite confident this would be no different.
