To quote a statement from Times of Israel, “Washington is fuming over the negative Israeli response to the ceasefire proposal drafted with Qatar and Turkey.” But after the report came out that the cease-fire offer was basically an offer for Hamas to stop fighting if Israel gives in to all their demands, Secretary of State John Kerry claims he never formally offered this particular cease-fire to Israel. Kerry claiming he never officially proposed this cease-fire, one that might as well have been drafted by Hamas, is no different from celebrities like Rihanna or Dwight Howard Tweeting “Free Palestine” only to delete the tweet later. Once you put it out there guys, we all know how you feel.
